Guest guest
Essential oils must be used with great cause. Oils are mostly safe when used properly but can become toxic to the body when used in high dosage. EO's are highly concentrated and are primarily 99 times that of the natural plant. Safety Precautions when using EO's. Avoid during pregnancy, though there are exceptions. Avoid in epileptic cases: camphor, fennel, hyssop, peppermint, rosemary (large amounts), sage. Sensitive Skin: reduce citrus oils and peppermint in bath and avoid hot spicy oils Phototoxic: avoid direct sunlight for all expressed citrus oils. Asthma: use small amounts of eo's. Infant and Children: avoid toxic and semi-toxic oils. more rules to come. Do not take EO's internally. EVER There are many more precautions. Always check precautions of each EO before using. Did you know that Eucalyptus is a Semi-Toxic oil? Tracy LM
