Hello!

I am now on regular version of this list and think I will like this better!

I thought I should introduce myself!

I am not certified in any way and I have taken no courses for aromatherapy.

I am totally and completely self taught; I would like to eventually take

some computer courses in this. I have checked into several and they look

really interesting and right up my alley! I just have a lot going on right

now and I homeschool four children so I will have to put the other off for

awhile.

I have been using aromatherapy for about 5 years now and really enjoy the

benefits of doing so. I make gift baskets and fill them with wonderful bath

and body products using only essential oils of high quality. I make bath

salts of all kinds, milk baths, bubble baths, kids bubble bath with a

rainbow of colors (these turn out so ADORABLE!), body wash and more. I don't

do the hand made lotions or cremes as of yet (too time consuming) but I do

buy pure lotion with no additives at all and make them scented with

essential oils. I also read up for what works good for arthritis and other

things to see which oil to add for the cream or lotion going to someone who

wants it for relief more than the scent (or as much as the scent!). I don't

hand make any bar soaps due to the lye. I have NO desire to work with this

stuff! I also don't want the drying process to take up the little space I

have to use for other things. I love what I have tried of this; just not

MAKING it! :)))))

I know this is long; I just wanted to share a little starting out!

We all have really bad colds around here and bad sinus problems (teach us to

quit taking our multi vitamins again!) so I have a huge candle on a heavy

cast iron stand (sitting in a huge glass globe like thing) and since it is

unscented but lets out a lot of heat - I added some drops of Eucalyptus oil

and a few of Lavender and it is wonderful!

Love,

Sandy:)
