Santhigiri Ayurveda Siddha Vaidyasala and Panchakarma Centre has

started an Ayurvedic Cardio Speciality Clinic near the Dhanya-Ramya

theatre at Ayurveda College junction. The centre said that it

would provide special treatments in Ayurveda that can rectify cardiac

blocks without having to undergo bypass surgery and angioplasty. The

free consultation of Dr S.P. Suresh Babu, senior cardiac consultant of

Santhigiri Healthcare and Research Organisation, will be available on

all Thursdays at the centre from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Santhigiri has

also opened speciality clinics here for the treatment of cancer, AIDS,

psoriasis, skin problems and gynaecology, under specialist doctors from

Siddha and Ayurveda systems of medicine. Dr A. Kumaravel,

vice-principal of Santhigiri Siddha Medical College, will be available

for consultation for cancer and AIDS patients every Wednesday from 9

a.m. to 1 p.m. Dr Sujith Kumar, vice-principal, Santhigiri Institute of

Paramedical Sciences, will be available for consultation on

skin-related ailments and Ayurvedic rejuvenation therapies the same day

evening between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. The centre will also offer

gynaecological consultation, including beauty therapies, by Dr Moby
