The occasion will be marked by devotions especially the Arddha Varshika Kumbha Mela (Half-yearly Kumbha festival). A variety of devotional and cultural programs is being conducted throughout India to mark the significance of the Poojitha Peeda Samarpanam.*** Program Details Attached ID users can also click here to view - Page 1 & Page 2 Janani Amritha Jnana Tapaswini has, through her Spiritual Completion fulfilled the words from the Supreme that there will be a fully realized spiritual leader to continue Guru's work. It is given to understand that there will be a fully realized Sishya Poojitha or Sishya Poojithan in all the coming generations of this Parampara and, in Janani, we see this pattern established. We see in her the living glory of Guru's work that of leading His own disciple through the numerous astral planes, making her move across all stages of spiritual evolution. The festival procession carrying Kumbham is proposed to start in the morning from the Yajna Saala arranged in the Santhigiri Siddha Medical College Complex, to proceed to the Ashram, to be dedicated at the Lotus Feet of Guru. A cultural meeting will be held at 1.30 PM in the afternoon. This sacred occasion is to be celebrated in all its great glory, and with the participation of everyone. This is the intention of Brahmam revealed to the Parampara. You are cordially invited, in the name of Guru, to take this as a personal matter and grace the occasion with the family and friends. Submitted at the Lotus Feet of Navajyothi Sree Karunakara Guru. " The Ashram helps a person to evolve by sensitizing him/her through 'Darshanam' (spiritual perception) in successive phases in fulfillment of the will of Brahmam to reach the Ultimate" Poojitha Peedam Samarpanam - 6 The sixth anniversary of the historic Spiritual Completion (Avasthaa Poortheekaranam) of NAVAJYOTHISREE KARUNAKARA GURU's Sishya Poojitha Janani Amritha Jnana Tapaswini falls this year on 22 February 2007 (1182 Kumbham 10). The Santhigiri Parampara proposes to celebrate this sacred occasion worldwide, with prayers and sankalpams. The Divine Grace has allowed to hold the Kumbha festival on this day at the Head Quarters to commemorate the Spiritual Completion. This is also for us to get a share of its merit (Punyam) for ourselves. The sorrow of any Guru has always been concerning his disciple. It is true of a Guru's joy as well. A true` disciple is someone who realizes his /her master through the sacrifices the mission calls for. Such a disciple alone inherits a Guru's legacy. Through such a disciple alone, could the work of a great soul be established, without any loss to its meaning? The great souls who have come to the earth plane so far have not been able to establish and sustain their work up to the extent of their realization. For none of these lineages, it can be seen, have produced a disciple who has realized his /her master. That is why Sree Narayana Guru, one of the greatest spiritual figures India has produced, said in his last days: 'No Child - a pity'. He felt the absence of a realized disciple, who could spread his mission to the world and the sad words reflect that sense of failure. The Dharmic code for a righteous life, given by Lord Krishna is a substantial one. Likewise, Moses, Gautama, Jesus, Mohammed et al have left their legacies to humanity. Yet the absence of realized disciples, who sustain the spirit of these various traditions, is evident in history. This negative trend stands corrected in Sishya Poojitha Janani Amritha Jnana Tapaswini, who, through her total and whole hearted dedication has achieved full realization as a disciple and attained the spiritual state realized by her Master himself. Her life of sacrifices thus becomes a natural continuation of Guru himself. Sishya Poojitha's achievement is not a mere coincidence. She faced and shared all kinds of trials and tribulations to be with Guru. She followed Guru like His shadow. She created an everlasting model for the Master-Disciple relationship. The spiritual power earned from her association with Guru in previous incarnations enabled her to carry out the spiritual tasks Guru entrusted her with. For more than a quarter century she has been doing an unparalleled sankalpam of special spiritual cleansing (Gurupooja in Santhigiri). Guru has indicated that there will be a spiritual leader who has realized Guru, to guard the living flame of Guru. God's compassion has made this promise come true. The Sishya Poojitha's Avasthaa Poortheekaranam heralds great good fortune for the world. The anniversary of this joyous event also brings fortune, making it an occasion for great rejoicing, veneration, and dedication at the Lotus Feet of Guru. Let us raise our hearts to the Divine on this Sacred Day. Here’s a new way to find what you're looking for - Answers
