Colloidal silver is often used in place of an antibiotic. I've used it for many different medical situations on myself and my cats. It can sometimes work wonders. Get some colloidal silver, put it in a dropper bottle and dose him orally 2 or 3 times a day with a few droppers full. Also, put some in his eyes and down his nostrils. For treating the nose, have someone hold him like a baby(on his back) scruff the back of his neck with your left hand and drop the CS down each nostril with the dropper. When dosing, put a few drops in one side, wait until he swollows then do the other side. If you quickly do both sides, he won't be able to breath, will feel like hes drowning and panic. Also, when they swallow, it shows it has gone down the nose and into the throat. My only worry with this cat would be secondary infections.. which would mean an antibiotic. I would sure watch him.
