Guest guest
Hiya, So after a pulmonary function test, we discovered that my lungs oerate at 70% of what is considered normal, and that my albuterol inhaler (Which I use 1-2x/day, gets it to 86%). My Dr. said he wanted to put me on inhaled steroids. My reply was, " Not to be rude, but over my dead body!!!!!!!! " I told him that I had not been treating it aggressively because I didn't realize it was a problem. I asked him for two months to treat it naturally, and then we will repeat the test. I have a lobelia tincture, which I will take 7 drops of thrice a day. I can hear it dilate my bronchial tubes when I use it. Are there any other suggestions? I'm sure many things I have at home could also help! If I fail the next test, he intends to put me on Intal (which is " derived " from natural plants, why not use the plant?). Mimi p.s. My gyn is fabulous, and told me to try to control PCOS by diet alone (she doesn't like meds either). In two months of awareness and one month of lowcarb, I got my cycle from 40 days (two yera average) to 34 days! WOO WOO! _______ Get your free @ address at
Guest guest
sorry to sound dense - is it asthma you have? or a lung problem similar? Anyway, check out Buteyko on- line. It has worked for thousands, and is drug free. Asthmatics over breathe, and it teaches you a way of breathing so that you have less oxygen and more carbon dioxide in your lungs. Too much oxygen is not good for you... Guest guest
couple of quick thoughts- in all my candida research I have found that candida can be a cause of asthma and clearing up the candida can clear up the asthma... also- do you have carpet? I know that carpet can contribute to asthma and breathing problems....
