Guest guest Posted January 12, 2002 Report Share Posted January 12, 2002 Hello all, I have a couple questions, there has been a lot going around about the good and bad with diets. Our family has been off refined sugars and flours for about 4 years. I have 6 children and am due in 3 weeks and 6 days with the 7th. Since we have been eating this way I am down to my wedding dress size (3-5) within a year after the baby is born. This was not the case before eating correctly. We eat meat about 4 times a week with legumes or veggie meals the other 3. My kids are rarely sick, and we all fell so much better Why bother with diets at all? I eat as much as I want and stay away from refined, processed things. It is easy, no controversy, and I do not know of anyone who would say we are harming our body (why take a chance with a fad?) I also would like to get your opinion on fructose? I have heard different opinions but no real facts. I do have 1 more question-My son is severely allergic to milk products. I can not use butter, what else is there to use in baking? I try to make sure my kids still have goodies, just healthy ones. Thank you!
