The steel plates cause breast damage and increase your risks, sometimes causing the breast cancers. If you have any cysts...beware. It can spread to your entire breast after a mammogram. Rumor has it this is a common occurrence...the machines squash the existing cysts and spread the cancer before she was even aware of it. Nice, huh.
