Guest guest
Out with the old... Our previous three health tips touched on weight loss. Now would be a good time to address another important factor to successful weight loss, the benefits of thoroughly cleansing the body. To cleanse the body before starting any nutritional program is often a step most people ignore (or, are ignorant of.) When this step is over looked, we significantly decrease the results from our supplements. When our digestive system becomes compromised, our health deteriorates. Internal cleansing will help promote a more efficient system of digestion, allowing us to better assimilate our nutritional intake. When we are struggling to lose weight, it may not be over-eating that is our problem, but under eliminating. The #2 Killer in America is Colon Cancer. Nearly every disease can be traced to a Toxic Colon. Food elimination should only take 18-24 hours yet the average person takes 3-4 days. You can store between 10 - 70 pounds of waste in the colon because of toxic buildup. Breast and Prostate Cancer, Diabetes and Heart Disease begin in the colon. A good cleansing program should always begin by removing the waste in your colon, the last portion of your food processing chain. If you attempt to clean your liver, blood, or lymph system without first addressing a waste filled colon, the excreted toxins may be recycled into your body. An interesting note: A person on a typical Western diet holds 8 meals of undigested food and waste material in the colon, while the person on a high fiber diet holds only 3. The longer your body is exposed to putrefying food in your intestines, the greater risk of developing diseases. Even with one bowel movement per day, you will still have at least three meals worth of waste putrefying in your colon at all times. On top of all this, your system can become continuously self-polluting by the poisonous gases that are caused by this stagnation in your bowel. The colon is the body's sewer system and when impacted, its shape and function are affected in numerous ways. These malformations greatly impair your large intestine's ability to function, which in turn places severe strain on your digestive organs and glands, affecting nutrient assimilation and absorption. >>

Guest guest
I think we need to be aware that we cannot have squeaky clean colons if our livers are toxic... we need to work on the liver as well..... - <dfnewman <rloprete Sunday, 13 January 2002 07:20 Health Tip > > > Out with the old... > > > > Our previous three health tips touched on weight loss.
