The reason is that dry food is addicting to cats. If my cats even smell it

in the house, they will give up their other food. Kinda like giving kids the

choice of either candy or broccoli. : )

Start by mixing the canned with dry then slowing lessen the dry. Get rid of

any dry in the house 'cause they can smell it.

Thats great you give him CS. So good for animals, plants and humans.

Have you ever tried diatomaceous earth for fleas? I've used it for years

outside the house for the crawly critters as we have no fleas inside due to

not letting the cats out. You can find it locally or on the web. It works

great, you can even put it directly on the animal. I know people who feed it

to their dogs/cats for worm control, I haven't gone that route yet. Farmers

put it in their feeds for cattle, etc for parasite control.

When you use it, just don't wing it out of the bag as its dusty and not good

to breath the dust but sprinkle or spread close to the object like rug,

couchs, cracks, crevices, pet beds, window sills, etc. When putting on your

pet, it will not harm him to lick it off. DE has been around for a long time

and is quite safe and useful.
