Some foods are primarily carbohydrate (bread); others are mainly protein (turkey); and some are pure fat (olive oil). Other foods are combinations of two or all three. A slice of pizza is a perfect example. The crust and tomato sauce provide the carbohydrate, and the cheese provides protein and fat.
