Debbie,

To be brief, so as to not be too off topic for this list. I found a wealth

of info at this site when I started my cats diet: http://www.felinefuture.com

Go to the nutrition page, lots of good read. At the bottom of the nutrition

page they have a few sites listed concerning the ingred. in commercial pet

food, I would recommend anyone feeding commercial food to read it.

Feline Future has the recipe listed for their nutrition supplement powder

for those who want to save a few bucks. I order mine from them in larger

quanitity as I make 12 lbs of food at a time and freeze it.

From what I understand, they are now making a dog supplement to be added to

raw meats. You might want to contact them. I'm not sure if they have a

separate dog page.

Hi Terri,

i am also on the holisticat group, most there who are feeding raw only, do

not go along with a lot of FF's ideas.

If you want a few good recipes, click on this site

http://sitelevel.whatuseek.com/query.go?crid=47a601616fba6294 & query=raw+food

+diet & slice_title=site

and scroll down to the second addy and have a look there, plus the ones

after it.

Mind you, i don't believe in cooking food for our little furballs, (or d**s)

as most *experts* will tell you, " cooked food is dead food "

Regards, Dorothy.
