Who is this Ray Peat? Did I understand your mail right, in that you stated

you would never recommend healthy people to take flax oil....

interesting....then how does one know if they need it? Everyone I come

across is unhealthy!

Hi Tracy,

 

You can get all you need from ground organic flax and you know it has not be

messed about with in processing. If you

have cancer then it may be a good idea to take large doses of flax oil and it

may even help if it has slightly gone off

cause the oxidized fatty acids will help to destroy the membranes around cancer

cells even faster.

 

For health you need 1 - 2 tablespoones a day of the ground variety, 1 -2 serves

of fatty fish per week and the

elimination of veggie oils and foods made with them. A small amount of extra

virgin oilve oil is ok but stick with VCNO

for most of your oil & cooking requirements.
