RE: greetings

Dear J

Welcome to the list!

How on earth can emotion poison your system? Acupuncture brings a balance

in the energy flowing in through your body, mind and spirit - emotions are a

natural part of being human! If there is an INAPPROPRIATE pattern of

emotion, the chances are that there is an imbalance of energy throughout the

system, as body, mind and spirit are integrally related.

I'm not a qualified acupuncturist yet, so I can't hazard a guess at what

your acupuncturist said, but I'm sure that can't be what he meant?

I'll be interested in hearing what everyone else thinks...

Ditto! In most instances emotions are your dear friends and help you express

the events of your life. Seeing the first robins return in the spring is a

pure joy and a tonic to the system.

An excess of a particular emotion can result in an imbalance. Any excess can

pose physical, mental and spiritual anomalies. Perhaps J's practitioner

phrasing was too strong or was misinterpreted.

Jim, a happy long time practitioner

lol,

sounds unanimous!

he certainly has produced universally positive results for me as far as im

concerned.

he must have been talking about some other type of meditation, or energy

paradigm. maybe i got it out of a book called 'buddhist logic'. (by a guy

whose name i cant remember but it started with s and seemed to be all

consonants.) this book i think had a section on the 'medical schools of

ontology'...

j

anyway, thanks for the responses!

I agree with Alobar on the cold and flu. I would also add garlic oil and

honey. They are natural antibotics and I use it daily. I also drink the apple

cider vinegar too. It is all combined in my " Joggin in a Jug " . I also clean

my ears with a Q-tip and put the apple cider vinegar on the tip. ACV kills

bacteria. I also swab my nose. So far so good!

Jane

ps. ACV is good for skin problems as well. All is Mother Natures perfect

foods!

Yes! Being a diabetic, I forgot to add what used to be my favorite

winter tonic, before I cut way back on honey.

Peel a lot of garlic (or buy already peeled, but with no preservatives or

liquid of any kind). Coarse chop the garlic. Cover with just enough honey

to cover it all. Cover tightly. Invert the jar once a day & turn back

over the next day. After a week, pour thru a strainer. The liquid is

actually pleasant tasting (provided one does not chop the garlic too fine).

Take 1 to 2 tablespoons a day. The garlic can also be used in cooking. It

has a much lighter flavor than fresh garlic.
