Guest guest
I do not like the taste of cno when liquid but am crazy about it when " butter " . In the summertime I move a wide mouth container in and out of the fridge to keep it spreadable. If it gets to hard I just pour a little of the oil on it which quickly absorbs. Guest guest
Hi Greg, Yes. I got my first order from Brian about a year or so ago before there was a US distributor even. It is the only one I will use. I cook with it but for sandwiches and stuff the colder the better for me. BTW, I enjoy the mayo made from your recipe. Guest guest
Hi all, I wrote to Spectrum about their semi-refined Coconut oil and the following was their response.....Thought the group would be interested in it: " Our Organic Coconut Oil, which is recommended for cooking, is grown and processed according to the strict organic standards of Quality Assurance International and the California Organic Foods Act of 1990. No solvents or chemicals are used in the expeller pressed extraction process. This product tolerates high heat cooking very well. Our Organic Coconut Oil is the least semi-refined of all our " semi-refined " oils as it is filtered through diatomaceous earth to remove pinkish colored enzymes and may be exposed to a low-heat deodorization step to remove any unwanted oxidized (unstable) free fatty acids or impurities that would contribute to rancidity. Semi-refining makes Spectrum Organic Coconut Oil a uniform product. " Jean
