Guest guest
A search for juicers will turn up at least two sites that compare different juice machines. A search of Garage Sales will turn up common $150 juice machines at low prices. However I have yet to see a Vita Mix or one of the other $500 juicers at a G sale for $20. But I got a 400 $ " Health Rider " like new for $20. ************My guess is that once the juicer/blender has broken down the plant the juices would be readily absorbed in the stomach and the pulp " goes down********** How about " chewing " the juice? Otherwise no saliva is mixed with a food that would normally start digestin whild being chewed. 3rd Grade Health Lesson. I found that a little " Twin Labs " Natural Nutritional Yeast improves the taste of some juice drinks. If the difference is that fresh vegetables and fruit may contain a few pesticide residues----What on earth will you eat in place of the fresh vegetables and fruit? Twinkies or Donuts? Guest guest
Interesting you should say that: " how about chewing your juice. " Dr. Benesh instructed his patients to go through the motions of chewing while drinking juices, which he also believed should be consumed slowly, as as soon after juicing as possible. He frowned on individual servings of freshly made juice, in excess of 8 ozs. He liked the Acme (I'm not sure if they're still in the juicer business) especially because it removed so much of the pulp, and would allow for the making of a quart of juice at one time, without the juice getting warm. - " Lorenzo " <lorenzo1 Tuesday, January 01, 2002 7:41 PM Juice and Juicers and Yeast? > A search for juicers will turn up at least two sites that compare different > juice machines.
