For the past 40 years I have eaten all fruit & veggies without any washing & I am not nervous about soil bacteria or stuff from people's hands. I was hoping that there was something which could remove the pesticides which are bonded into the skins of the produce. Alobar
Guest guest
Alobar, I don't think so....it is grown into the fruit or veggie so what will take it out? Nothing I know of and that's why I stick to organic or don't eat it because I can taste the pesticide in the meat of the plant....but then I do have a touchy system so you are extremely blessed that you do not have to worry about bacteria. My husband is the same way and I do envy him!! Guest guest
---I'm with you Lu. Very sensitive to pesticides also. I eat organic as much as my Kroger Nature Market will allow. Also, we can't really avoid GMO's w/o going organic, from what I've heard. I sense these things are implanted inside our tomatoes, etc. BTW are you aware of hydroponic tomatoes? They seem to be really prevalent of late. Sounds really strange! LOL " Lu " <demi111@m...> wrote: > Alobar, > I don't think so....it is grown into the fruit or veggie so what will take it out? Guest guest
--- Donna, That really doesn't surprise me although it might surprise the average citizen. A friend of mine did some research on arsenic last year. She found that it's coming from the wood used in numerous recreation areas and resorts, etc. It runs off into the soil continually. And the Bush administration has been taking the blame for it... This has been going on years before he ever came on the scene, but just now surfacing. I'm just relieved that I gave up citrus for some health-related problems years ago. But then again, it's probably not confined to citrus either. Thanks Donna! I'm thinking that this could be linked to quite a few health problems. Wow, my son can't eat citrus either now...gets real nauseas from it. Hmmm...I think I see the connection now.
