Guest guest
Evening Joann, >> Did you know that the nutrients start to excape from an apple the >second you core it? Oxidation, I've heard. For this reason I never >buy half a watermelon. LOL The reason I never buy a half watermelon, is that..... I can eat a whole one. I really love watermelons. This year, I grew about 40 melons. Some were so large that I had to stop to rest, carrying the melons from the garden to the house. Of course I am older and weaker than I once was, but these melons weighted 40 to 50 pounds. They do not have a handle to grab, so they tax the muscles a bit. There exist some hidden properties in watermelon. A few years back I came across some very nice ones. Eating them, and growing them for years, one develops an instinct for good quality melons. After eating these for about 3 days, my blood pressure was lower than it has been in years. Honestly, I think there must be some beneficial nutrients in watermelons that the scientist and nutritions have not told us about. Guest guest
The best natural health doctor I've ever been to, would prescribe an easier option to fasting on water for his patients, that needed to " clean up, " or rest their intestinal tract, etc. He would put them on a watermelon only diet for 2 days. He considered it a miracle food. - " Wayne Fugitt " <wayne Monday, December 31, 2001 8:08 PM Watermelons > Evening Joann, > > >> Did you know that the nutrients start to excape from an apple the > >second you core it?
