Thanks for the web sites, Kristine. I love Dr. Mendelsohn's books... I have

" How to keep your child healthy in spite of his doctor " and it's very

informative. I love that he says that the safest place to deliver a baby is

in taxi on the way to the hospital. ;D

 

He was on my mind yesterday because my MIL has the flu and she told me that

the only thing she ate in 24 hours was a package of ramen noodles. I was

appalled and was reminded of Dr. Mendolsohn's edict against those very

noodles. :/ Ah well...I would love to help my MIL health-wise, but she is

stubborn like me and would not appreciate any advice. Plus she thinks

ketchup is a vegetable and margarine is healthy. :/ So I wouldn't even know

where to start. I think the best thing I can do is to help my own husband --

perhaps if she sees him getting healthier, she may change her mind.
