I don't know if this is being caused by my Endo, or something more nasty. I am 39 years old, usually have regular cycles ( although long), and have been checked over about 6-8 months ago for cervical things. Does anyone know what might be causing this. It can happen 2-3 days after menstruation, or in the middle of my cycle. I don't thing it is related to ovulation. Help. Tracy ------------- Hi Tracy, I am not a doctor, but I will tell you what I have read. Both endo and excess bleading are from excess estrogen and too low progesterone. Your estrogen can be low and still be in excess if it is alot higher than your progesterone. From what I have read and experienced, taking progesterone cream would help you on both counts. Here is a list to ask more questions, if you are interested. Naturalalternativestohrt The cream I use is Puregest. It has no chemical preservatives in it, just natural preservatives and since the whole point is that we do absorb through the skin, then keeping the chemicals out and the progesterone in seems wise to me. Because I am 51, I am in the range for meno. I occasionally have heavier bleeding than normal and I just do some cream and it reduces. This is wonderful because I have had friends who bleed heavy for weeks. So stopping it in one day is pretty awesome. Endo, is caused by too much estrogen. Estrogen is what causes the lining of the uterus to increase, and when it is unopposed by progesterone it just keeps growing and you end up with endo. so it sounds to me like you need more progesterone. Again, I am not a doctor. You can read all this in " What Your Doctor Might Not Tell You About Menopause " by Dr. Robert Lee Hope this helps Donna You can contact me off list for more info on the puregest cream ruthful Donna
