Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm wondering if anyone out there has any experience with low white blood cell count. My young cousin (only 12) has been ill, with a sore throat and fainting a few times. He has a low white blood cell count and even a few abnormal cells. They have ruled out CMV and of course they are testing for lymphoma and leukemia. They are also testing for a bunch of autoimmune things, like lupus and sarcoidosis, which his father has and gives him a low count as well. I'm hoping that someone has some ideas that we haven't thought of yet, b/c I hate to assume cancer until we know. Thanks, Debbie deb http://www.bodyhealthcenter.com
Guest guest
I have no idea what is causing it, but there are tons of nutritional supplements that boost up the different kinds of white cells. Figure out what he is low in and feed him the relvant supplements. No MD is going to do this for you - it is against the AMA religion. Guest guest
Andy, Thanks for this! Do you have a resource you could direct me to, so I can find the right supplements after I find out what type of white blood cell he is low in? Do you have a resource you could direct me to, so I can find the right supplements after I find out what type of white blood cell he is low in? Use the blood count to figure out what he is generally low in, and then check in standard sources such as Murray's Healing Power of Herbs for what the various immune support supplements do, or check by searching the assorted supplements on medline (and wading through a ton of garbage). Or post on list and ask.
