Chuck out ALL veggie oil based products except extra virgin olive oil. Then eat 1 tablespoon of ground flax and one serve of fatty fish (salmon, mackerel, tuna, herring, etc) or use 2 standard fish oil capsules per day. Add in some coconut oil for its rich Lauric content and try to avoid fried foods because of their AGE cross links. Eat heaps of veggies, little red meat (too much long chain sat fats and Omega 6 AA) and switch to whole grain breads and stone ground whole grain flour. Try to limit cooking to just blanching. Take about 500 IU's Vit E, 500 - 1,000 mg Vit C & 500 ug Folate. Get your Vit A from a carrot or two, your Vit D and iodine from the fatty fish. Eat about 100 g / 3 oz of your favourite nuts (walnuts are good). You'll live to be 100 or more! If you want to see all this on paper, download DWIDP (link below) and input your diet. ======================== Good Health & Long Life, Greg Watson, gowatson USDA database (food breakdown) http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/ PubMed (research papers) http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi DWIDP (nutrient analysis) http://www.walford.com/dwdemo/dw2b63demo.exe Patch file for above http://www.walford.com/download/dwidp67u.exe KIM (omega analysis) http://ods.od.nih.gov/eicosanoids/KIM_Install.exe
