Guest guest
Re: my overheating problem Many thanks to all those who responded to my question. I should have thought of hyperthyroid - my cat has hyperT - and you know what they say about pets and their owners! I'll check out the website, Rob. Greg, I'll get thyroid levels checked. I'm supposed to have lots of blood tests - just haven't got myself, fasting, to pathology yet. I will buy a thermometer today - it never occurred to me to take my temperature <g>. For postmenopause I take soy and fish oil. Actually, I take lots of supplements but only those two for pm. What are tribulus and tibolone? I can't find them in any of my books. (I'm in Australia, and have Aussie and US books). Ann, thank you for alerting me to the adrenal problem. I will check it out, and go back and read all the recent posts on it. And, Steve, for your mention of CD8 cells. I will do some serious research. I've been trying to ignore this problem for too long. The GP I mentioned it to, about a year ago, brushed it aside and inferred that I was making a lot of fuss about nothing. I didn't go back. Thank you, all. Hi Jo, Tribulus is a herbal supplement for libido available in Ozzie health food stores. Here is a link: http://www.tribestan.com/ We use Victory 1000 brand. 2 tablets a day seems to help. We know if we don't take them. Tibolone is available from your doctor. It is not HRT in the normal sense but is a SERM (Selective Estrogen Receptor Modifier) which has all the benefits of HRT without the cancer side effect. Works very well! Builds bones and reduces cancer risk....... http://www.livial.com/ Also I would suggest using 1 tablespoon of ground flax / linseed for the Omega 3 and phytoestrogen ligands. ======================== Good Health & Long Life, Greg Watson, gowatson USDA database (food breakdown) http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/ PubMed (research papers) http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi DWIDP (nutrient analysis) http://www.walford.com/dwdemo/dw2b63demo.exe Patch file for above http://www.walford.com/download/dwidp67u.exe KIM (omega analysis) http://ods.od.nih.gov/eicosanoids/KIM_Install.exe
Guest guest
Hi, Greg, Thanks for the info. >Tibolone is available from your doctor. Works very well! <Builds bones and reducescancer risk....... http://www.livial.com/<< Sounds good ! I forgot to say I'm on HRT of the traditional kind - osetradiol plus progesterone. Would like to get off it. >Also I would suggest using 1 tablespoon of ground flax / linseed for the Omega 3 and phytoestrogen ligands.< Also forgot to say I get some linseed from bread and LSA spinkled on food, but maybe not enough. I took my temperature three times on Sunday - 36.5; 36.4; 36.3. Doesn't really sound like overheating, does it!! Thanks for your help.
