I should be the first to admit any Calculation Error. I chose to use $/mg;

just seems simpler than $/day as the dose may be chosen after the product is

chosen. BUT that is NOT where our differences are!

 

Actually the original search of over 80 sites did not happen to include

Swanson; A later check of Swanson did not turn up the price referred to

above! It turned up an average priced softgel at about $0.0075/mg.

 

Now having just gone through Swanson's Net pages several times; it is clear

that they do not show all CoQ10 products on the same page. It depends on

how you approach or search them as to what product/price you find.

 

AND they have NOW Slashed the prices on CoQ10 down to $22.04 for 100 of the

100mg softgels which is now at $0.0022 per mg. a really low price. Lower

than when you got your price.

 

So it is very helpful and fortunate that you brought this out.

 

It seems that Swanson's if starting a price war; as comparing their newly

slashed prices to my old sources shows that Swanson's is truly quite low

priced now. Because I had been pricing a number of vendors and items

recently and have a good idea of prices; I took the opportunity to place an

order for several items with them just now.

My remark concerning the price of Swanson's Q10 was the result of the

company's having been mentioned on this list. I've never had any dealings

with Swanson, but their prices are remarkably low. I intend to order a few

bottles of Q10 on their " sale. " Thanks for pointing this out.

Swanson's is always like that. They'll drive you crazy. They send a catalog

a week or more. Each one is valid for 3-4 months. So you end up with maybe

16 valid catalogs and have to check each one for prices on each item. If you

want more than one item per shipping and handling charge, forget it. It's

too complicated. You'll see....But even if you pay a dollar more for one

thing, you'll save $1.50 on something else.

 

What I've been doing for years is tearing out the page of what I want at the

lowest price and writing the catalog number on that page. Then, when I

finally order, I give all the different catalog numbers. No big deal, all

their prices are the best anyway except for the few things I buy from

puritan.com (when it's buy one, get two free) and the wild salmon oil from,

ahem, Dr. Jon.

Thanks for the heads up, Lorenzo! What is the product number on the of the

CoQ10 you ordered? That is WAY cheap! Any other hot buys? What else did you

order? If anybody else finds some good bargains like that, please share so we

can all benefit!

You mention that Swanson has slashed their already low Q10 price even

further, on the 100mg, 100 softgels item. Can you tell us which product

number it was. I'm considering product #561. I checked their site, and

couldn't find the sale your referring to. Could it be over already???
