Alobar, Sorry about the lady and her sucky attitude... it could've been that she was feeling enormous and uncomfortable, or she could have been truly uncaring... But anyway, I just wanted to share that I took something in the last stages of my pregnancy with my second child and had good results with it. It is called " PN-6 " and is a proprietary blend of Squaw Vine, Red Raspberry, Blessed Thistle, Black Cohosh, Penny Royal, and False Unicorn. Yes, those things can induce labor, which is why it's called PN-6 -- that is, you're only supposed to use it for the last 6 weeks of pregnancy. I took the recommended amount until a week before my due date, at which point I doubled the dosage. Then as I went over my due date, I tripled the dosage with no ill effects. I started labor about 3 days after the due date, and 3 days later Max was born. (Yes, you read that right - 3 days of labor! ) The labor went very well -- it was light and painless for the majority of the time. Even when it got hot and heavy (for the last 4 hours), it was still painless. Much of the painless aspect I attribute to the liquid calcium and magnesium that I was taking every hour on the hour during labor (or maybe it was the PN-6? Many ladies who have taken it have said that their labors had much less pain). Mindy, who loves to talk about childbirth!
