Guest guest
A couple of years ago a herbalist friend told me about peanuts/peanut butter causing gall bladder problems. I had a dull ache in the gallbladder area which sometimes became severe. When i quit consuming peanuts/ peanut butter the pain slowly went away (a few weeks). She said many people have had their gall bladders needlessly removed - when all they had to do was change their diet. Liver/gall bladder cleanses are almost necessary if one wishes to loose weight. When the liver/gall bladder is plugged it drags down the metabolism. It has been estimated that Americans Livers run at only 15 - 25% efficiency because of bad diets. A liver function test will not tell how bad the liver really is, only if it is working. Plug the liver enough and a persons whole system will self destruct in a painful death. The Liver is the body's chemical factory and chinese medicine considers it the center of health (Qui/Chi). There are several hundred sites dealing with Liver cleanses and weight loss, and many cleanses available. Here is just one: http://www.drhuldaclark.org/weight_problem_dr_clark.htm Rick

Guest guest
Hi Mariane You may want to study the following web pages: http://www.lef.org/magazine/mag2001/july2001_report_fat_01.html http://coconut-info.com/diet_and_disease.htm Using fish oils and virgin coconut oil i ran my good cholesterol way off scale high while lowering overall cholesterol. Of course my doses are far beyond what you might consider.
