Plus, I would not be keeping score that close. Simply drink more water until you become addicted to it. In time, it will taste and become .... " what one is supposed to drink " . The thumb rule is (body weight in pounds) divided by two = ounces to drink. However, I disagree with this and think it is too conservative. I drink about 50% more than this each day. Start the day with a glass of water, and end it the same way. My glasses are 16 ounces, not 8 ounces. Try to find a good source of water that you really like. IF your water is distasteful for any reason, then of course drinking it will become a chore instead of a pleasure. Wayne

I used to drink more water than the rule of thumb. Water use increased slowly up to nearly 2 gallons a day (I weighed 270 lbs back then) & thought I was doing good to drink so much water. Then I discovered I had diabetes & my body was urinating frequently to get rid of the excess sugar. Not syaing you are sick, but you might want to have your blood sugar levels tested. Guest guest
Could you please convert the water amount into mls for me. We don't use ounces, so I never know how much I am supposed to be drinking. All our water bottles etc are in mls. Thanks Tracy - " Wayne Fugitt " <wayne Friday, 30 November 2001 17:14 Re: Water/herbal tea question > Evening TerriG, > > At 05:55 PM 11/29/2001 -0500, you wrote: > >Do herbal teas count towards the daily intake of water?
