Hi Jo,

because early on, someone said that the yellow and/or gold were a much

better quality, and as you know, in NZ we don't get much in the way of good

quality supplements, etc. But, i had to have the botanical name so the lady

who owns the h/f shop could get her supplier to order some.

Hi Dorothy,

 

To my understanding there is no significant difference between the golden and

the dark brown flax / linseed. What you

want is the seeds to be certified organic and not to have been treated with

chemicals to assist germination and kill

fungus.

well it doesn't really matter now, i have the brown, and the golden ones are

These are certified organic, i wouldn't buy anything else.
