But the soy use was soy protein isolate, which is mainly the amino acids from

the protein and none of the cardio

protective isoflavones.

 

The AHA studies, which showed strong cardio protective effects from soy

consumption, used the whole spectrum of the

nutrients from soy. Soy protein isolate may be good for muscle builders but

other than the amino acids, there is little

else there.

 

Again, with respect you need to compare apples to apples.
