Guest guest
Ah Ha, I remember in the 1930's when first thing in morning out came the pint Bottle of Good Ole COD LIVER OIL and the tablespoon in front to catch the yellow oily fishy tasting stuff and into our mouths. There were 6 of us kids and parents all taking the Cod liver Oil before breaklfast to wash it down and wash our mouths with a bowl of hot cereal with good ole fashioned top cream and unadded to cows milk and goats milk. We didn't have much meat sometimes but we sure had to take that stuff the Government Commodoties service, with W P A would give us with our monthly rations of staples etc. and clothing, bedding etc. I guess they thought we needed our bottle of Sunshine. Wish they had of had capsules then. Maxine Wilton mmwaw
