Guest guest
When I have a problem accepting information, I ask Dr. Joe Schwarcz for his opinion. He is a professor of Chemistry at McGill University, Montreal, Canada, author of two current best-selling books on science, frequent guest on the Discovery channel, weekly guest on CJAD radio call-in show, writes a weekly in the Gazette, a Montreal daily, will answer email, etc... This is his comment on Soy: Morton - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Re: Possible dangers in soy coming out. " JOE SCHWARCZ " <joe.schwarcz I had a quick look at Mercola's background. In this business you develop a feel about who can be trusted and who not. Generally osteopaths, like him, do not fall into the trustworthy category. I become even more suspicious when they have religious leanings - this guy seems to be a fundamentalist Christian. Nothing wrong with that but they tend to have a skewed view of science. There is a great deal of literature on soy and these scare stories constitute a tiny minority. The overwhelming evidence is positive. I will not enrol in the Mercola fan club. Guest guest
Unfortunately the same thing can be said about vaccinations. And since when did you guys ever think like the majority? That's a complement. ron _____________ Get the FREE email that has everyone talking at http://www.mail2world.com <> > > Greg Watson > 11/20/2001 10:34:21 AM > Gettingwell > Re: Soy > > - > " Morton Bodanis " > To: > Tuesday, November 20, 2001 9:49 AM > Soy > > > > There is a great deal of > > literature on soy and these scare stories constitute a tiny minority. > > The overwhelming evidence is positive. > > Hi Morton, > > Could not agree more. > > ======================== > Good Health & Long Life, > Greg Watson, gowatson > DWIDP: http://www.walford.com/dwdemo/dw2b63demo.exe > KIM: http://ods.od.nih.gov/eicosanoids/KIM_Install.exe > > > >
