Source for Vitamins and Minerals

Evening Everyone,

This is a very exciting list. I have been well pleased with the variety of

topics and first person experiences.

Often we become tired of the academic approach and solution to all problems.

Sometimes a first person testimonial will sway my thinking more than a 500

page book on a subject. That depends on who wrote the book and what I

think of the author. If I decide a source is " mainstream " related, I

discount most, if not all of it. And..... I could be wrong.

At any rate, I put together a few pictures about how I get some of my

vitamins and minerals. I reduced the resolution of these pictures by about

50 % so they do not take all day to load.

I try to always have something fresh, green and close by to eat every

day. This web page has a few items I am growing during the fall growing

season. I know there exist many other things I need to grow. As always,

" maybe next year " .

Take a brief look and offer any suggestions or

criticism. www.fugitt.com/foodstuf.htm

This one bed is about 100 feet long. I made it by hand and planted it in

less than a day. It is a lot like cutting

firewood. It warms you TWICE ! I have been folar feeding these plants

with calcium nitrate plus a blend of nutrients called Total Gro which had

an alalysis of 3-13-29 plus trace minerals.

Another little project I have not completed yet came about after I ate only

12 large pecans for breakfast.

More on that later.

*nodnod* I like it too!! I don't have a lot of healthnut friends, other than

my

mother... (you've no idea how nice it is to be able to ask someone like her

" Where does Alpha Linoleic Acid come from? " and not get a strange look or " alpha

what? " ).

I struggle with that, too. I have such a prejudice against mainstream medical

thinking, but oftentimes they do provide valuable information, and if nothing

else, it's fun to go to the Medline web site and look up info on various

illnesses and possible " cures. " BTW I had both of my babies at home and it's

still such a jolt to me that other women are actually happy with their hospital

births... so I have to " keep an open mind " and realize that for some people it

is

possible to be happy with the medical model. :(

I loved those pictures, especially the pic of pepper! ;) What state/area do

you

live in? You must live in a warm climate to be able to pick kale in the fall,

right?? *gardening know-nothing*

Funny, most veterinarians are quickly hopping on the chemical drug bandwagon, so

I think our only hope will be organic gardeners. Nutrients that help plants

could help people, too...
