Guest guest
I have searched for a source of Palm Oil or Palm Kernel Oil without much success-- Because of reports like the following: " Recent Research on Palm Tocotrienols CHOLESTEROL LOWERING EFFECTS Alpha-tocotrienol has been shown to inhibit the biosynthesis of cholesterol................................ Combination of gamma-tocotrienol and alpha-tocopherol as is found in palm oil vitamin E deserved further evaluation as a potential hypolipemic agent in hyperlipemic humans at atherogenic risk. Watkins, T. et al. (1993), " Gamma-Tocotrienol as Hypocholesterolemic and Antioxidant Agent in Rats Fed Atherogenic Diets " " From a report at : http://www.hovid.com/carotech/arhealth.html Palm Oil is used extensively in African cooking and in some US Bakeries. I have found a source that sells it by the ton. I would prefer to buy it by the gallon! A few vitamin Sellers are selling capsules. caps are a very expensive way to get vitamins that are plentiful in common food.
