Once a food is cooked, it becomes a different food altogether. Of course I love roasted sunflower seeds and roasted almonds. But..... all the time I am eating them, I feel guilty knowing that I cannot fool the body. Yes, I add a few roasted nuts to the trailmix from time to time. Wayne, Today I cooked a squash and turkey, and instead of throwing all of the seeds away, I ate a handful... it wasn't as bad as I thought they'd be.
