Your way of grinding the flaxseed daily is the very best way of getting your flaxseed. As far as dose, like most nutritional issues, it depends on your body and it's needs. Nutrition and diet is such a personal thing. How is the flaking skin? Is there improvement? How long have you been using flaxmeal? Pam Find the one for you at Personals http://personals. I researched enough not to buy meal as it degrades so fast. Flaking skin improvded a lot over first month, then I had a setback when I was trapped in Chcago airport on Sept.11 & had very high stress & no flax for the next 4 days until I got home. Skin has now improved, but not yet back to pre-setback stte. Total I guess I have been using about 5 months or so. Alobar

Is this abut the right daily dose? > Hi Alobar, What you want is organically certified seeds. Some commercial seeds have added in many chemicals to aid germination and to kill seed sprout pests. Good for growing flax plants but not good for you. The dose is ok, assuming you are controlling Omega 6 linoleic acid (LA) intake. I pay US $3.5 per kilo (2.2 lbs) in bulk at my local health food shop. The non organic seeds are about US$1.50 per kilo. Greg
