St. Vincent embraces nontraditional medicineBy Patti Zarling

One may not typically associate massage, hypnosis, biofeedback and

acupuncture with the idea of a traditional hospital.

 

But St. Vincent Hospital is looking to bridge Eastern medicine and

modern medicine with its WholeHealth center, located at 2100 Riverside

Drive. The center, which opened in early August, aims to help clients

achieve good health through a wide range of holistic approaches.

 

" There are all sorts of patients who are looking for nontraditional

methods of treatment, " said Leah Busch, director of business development

for St. Vincent. " We have many patients asking for natural or

non-traditional approaches. We started looking around about two years

ago.
