Guest guest
There are some very interesting memebers in this group. They might not think so of themselves but believe me they are. Would some of you introduce yourselves (screen name or first names only please) and tell a little of what you are looking for or if you have had success or in the process of overcoming some illness or condition please share with us. thanks, Frank
Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm a new member and my name is Ruth. I am always looking for knowledge on natural vitamins, herbs, minerals, enzymes, amino acids, etc. Also I feel I need all the knowledge I can gain so if someone I know or care about gets ill, I can say I read this and it said this...you get the idea. I have allergies and it seems that with my body constantly fighting things that I'm allergic to, that I catch bacteria and virus infections easier than most (my dr says there is nothing wrong with my immune system). Thus, even though I take most of the items listed above, I continue to search. I manage to stay healthy most of the time where before my endeavors, I had a cold or the flu so very often. Also, my husband is type 2 diabetic, he's 65 and I also look for items to keep the brain active. Presently, he also has a bone spur and a spot on his Face that needs removed. The dr. states that his blood tests now look like a Persons tests that are non diabetic (even though he is). I attribute that to the natural substances we take. Presently, I'm trying to find the difference between using a ionizer in a room (what it does) and an ozonator. Is an ozonator available to put on furnaces. I've read conflicting reports on the internet. I have done some Hydrogen in water in the past and am reexploring that area. Ruth members There are some very interesting memebers in this group. Guest guest
My name is Avril and I am mother to a beautiful little boy, Gerry and wife to DH, Lorne. Our son developed regressive autism at the age of 18 months. For two years we saw small improvement by trusting our HMO doctors and the Early Intervention Program. Then our social worker gave me a copy of an article by Karyn Seroussi about how her son recovered from autism. Well we made a half-hearted attempt at dietary change and gave up. Gerry started to have what looked like episodes of seizures. After a horrific overnight hospital stay doing an EEG to rule out Landau-Kleffner, I got desperate enough to buy Seroussi's book and get a DAN (Defeat Autism Now) protocol practitioner. In short, our son responded well to secretin, but more that that, it became obvious that he couldn't eat gluten or casein. By restricting his diet, our son came out of his autism fog. Later he became reactive to corn and soy. He still has major gut problems, and we struggle with this daily. But his mind is clear and he is catching up developmentally with his peers. I get into a lot of trouble with people for telling this story. Heck, even parents of autistic kids don't believe me. Sometimes, I ask my hubby for a reality check, because I have a hard time understanding all this. It's all very confusing and complicated, and we are not out of the woods yet. Guest guest
Hello, Dehumidifiers seem to help alleviate the problems. Some particles live in very high humidity, according to a recent report. Vitamin C in very large daily doses are beneficial!
