Colloidal Silver

I share your concern about colloidal silver re: having it everyday, I

believe could be detrimental - but it's just like anything we put into our

body - we have to be careful even food on the supermarket shelf isn't safe

(grin!)

I have taken Colloidal Silver and I only take it if its necessary. I've

never taken it for a cold or anything.

I used to give colloidal silver to my son - but not everyday only when

something nasty was going around his pre-school like whooping cough etc. I

have to say that William never caught anything from pre-school - not even

the ever common chicken pox virus.

I know of a paediatrician in Australia who had seen a child in hospital

suffer from anaemia, and copper deficenties and they suspect it was from the

use of colloidal silver. I guess if one was using huge amounts of it you

could run into problems. I had William's copper levels and other minerals

checked periodically (poor kid he had everything checked) and these were

always normal. So in my own opinion, in small amounts and only when needed

it is probably safe.

I'm always careful with anything like this. I wouldn't want to take

antibiotics everyday just for the sake of it and I wouldn't take colloidal

silver everyday either. I am more than aware of how clever viruses and

bacteria can be and I don't want to see yet another 'super bug' that becomes

resistant to more than just antibiotics.

Cheers!
