The kind of calcium can make all the difference in the world. And also, whether

it is take with cofactors like magnesium and trace minerals. Some calciums can

make things worse. For instance, lactate is acid forming and so would increase

acidity and increase cancer risk.

What kind were you taking.

Hi All

An excerpt from: http://www.thehempnut.com/story.html

Osteoporosis — Bone loss is a serious concern of the elderly. It is often

associated

with kidney and artery calcification. Using EFA supplementation improves

calcium absorption, and enhances bone and collagen synthesis and overall bone

strength.

Im sure if you search further there are many references on EFAs controls over

calcium.

Also there was a reference to vitamin K on lef.org that shows it keeps

calcium

from settling in the joints - so eat lettuce and almonds and any other

source

of vitamin K.
