Frank/Marlena - I think we must make a distinction regarding MLM

(Dear Lynn, I know you were hurt terribly by prescription drugs and you want

to help people who have been hurt. And you also feel like we have been lied

to and hurt just so some of the drug companies could make a profit.

 

I agree, I think the drug companies do not operate in the interests of the

patients. Lynn you may not be aware to the extent that a lot of " health

companies also decieve the people to get a profit.

 

To keep this list somewhat in favor of the users of health care, I

also want to protect people from being taken for their money. I want them

to get health not the opposite. They certainly can take whatever they want

and others can promote whatever they want, just not on this list.

 

Some people can afford to buy whatever or many things, while others have

very limited funds to spend on supplements and can't afford to make a lot of

mistakes, they will quit and say " oh vitamins, I tried them didn't work. "

 

Im glad that Marlena has benefited and she is certainly welcome to say that

she has and likes it. What I object to is a flat out commercial message being

posted complete with sales literature and a phone number etc.

 

There are billions of private emails a day sent. The people that want to sell

something should use them in this case and NOT try posting them to his board.

 

A large part of the groups available on the net are to promote a certain product

or

book or something. That is the main reason that they are in existence.

I was trying to give the people somewhere they could get real information where

I or someothe group moderator/owner wasn't trying to skew the truth to get hteir

money.

I do not have a product to sell and I know that you do not also Lynn, but im

telling

you that not all but, most of the lists do have a hidden agenda.

 

 

So far Ive had a number of MLM or commercial groups trying to tout their

stuff here. Most of it has not reached the list for publication. It is a fine

line, but

if this list degenerates down to an avalanche of selling there will be very

little truth

here except for who gets to make the money.

 

Thats what we have in the pharmacutical industry now.. Isnt that the reason we

are

looking for something better.

 

I hope the people wake to what the pharma industry has done to them but that

does not

mean take any thing and trust it just because it is a so called altenative.

Frank - Marlena has really benefited from this supplement/food... she

doesn't sell it. I suspect she posted it because, when she only referred to

it in the ProzacTruth group, " everyone " kept asking her what she was

eating/taking! My opinion is that we all need to know what works - and, if

someone is making money from something they are bringing to the group, they

should say so. Marlena isn't making money - I believe she was being

thorough. I, for one, was very interested in her story and the product line

she found helpful. I think we can make a distinction between those out to

make money and those who have found health, regardless of where they've

found it. Even Jim from ProzacTruth makes money from selling Immunocal, but

he uses the proceeds to help others.

 

Marlena is not pushing a product; she's sharing something that has truly

changed her life (we've discussed all this in another group).
