I totally agree with what you are saying. For example ... someone did

iridology on me & said I had a major calcium deficiency ... my blood test

came back ok for calcium .. but when I took supplements .. i felt ALOT

better. I really wish there was a way to test for these things.

Experimentation gets a little old. Angie

Dear Group,

I think tests can be helpfull as they can help us spot deficiencies

or toxic substances sometimes. I wish there were more and better and

more sophisticated ones available.

A test of our blood only shows what is present or not in our blood as

well as can be dermined by the lab, test materials etc. I might have

some substance in my tissue or locked in my bone and it may not show

up in my bloodtest. I think the same could hold true for hair, stool

etc.

Tests may also show a level of some vitamin mineral,or amino acids,

etc but it doesn't show how it fullfills my needs. Please keep in

mind that what my body may need to be healthy might be 10 times of

some substance that some other person might need. All our nutritional

need are very individualistic. The daily requirements set by the

government are the crudest guidline and can be misleading.

They are tools to search what is happening inside but only tell a

little bit, to be put together with other tests and clues to try and

get some idea about the inside process.

The liver is estimated to make 10,000 substances (your natural

chemical factory) most of which science has not identified yet.

(notice how I said " natural chemicals " to mean to me natural to my

body.)

just my $.02
