Dear Group,

What areas of discussion would you like the group to cover?

{Other than you would like to have better sex and you need more

money.)

Does anyone have intestional, bowel trouble?

High cholesteral, heart disease? Joint aches or pains?

Migraines? PMS?

What other?

Hi Frank,

So far, this is proving to be a very helpful group for me. I am

really interested in the kombucha tea and kefir sites that posted. I

have been reading there and want to try the tea. I have rheumatoid

arthritis and I am using the antibiotic protocol and some herbal

supplements as well. I would love to hear others successful

treatments of RA.

Gratefully,

Esther

Dear Esther,

I hope you enjoy making kombucha.

The second website on kombucha given in my previous message is one of

our member's here.

http://www.kombu.de/english.htm

His name is Gunther W. Frank and he is the author of a very good book

on the subject.

Dear Lisa,

Wow you have quite a list also.

I hope you can find some help here.

As I said before, I will try and help, but the majority of help will

probably come from the many knowledgeable members here.

I don't have all of the answers nor do i claim to.

I have read though that just about all of these symptoms could have

one major root cause and be inter-related.

Also, myself and others here will try and find some information for

you to examine about some nutritional or herbal things that you might

want to consider.

I had many of the same things also.

As time goes on maybe we can see how much of the diseases we have are

inter- related as well and a lot of the remedies are goingto be

similiar nutritionally.

Yes - my friend has high cholesterol and that is not an area that I've done

any research in.... I've cleared the most severe PMS through Candida

clearing and would be happy to talk to anyone about this.

Dear Group,

This may seem minor to some, but it's not to my

daughter. My daughter has a RSI (Repetitive Stress

Injury) that is extremely severe.

In her case it is severe Tendonitis from her hands to

above her elbows. It has been almost a year and a

half, now, and she still can't function very well in a

lot of ways. She is in almost constant pain, she can't

carry or lift things, she can't cut with a knife for

food preparation. When she tries to any of these

things she re-injures herself and has more pain. She

has had three doctors tell her she's never going to

recover from it. She is currently going to a

specialized chiropractor who also uses some oriental

disciplines, he has helped her more than any one, but

she still has a long way to go.

She is on disability - which is going to run out

pretty soon - and she is desperate. She is afraid she

will never be able to work and support herself. She is

fairly young - 31 - and she feels like her life is

over.

We are open to all suggestions. Has anybody had

similar problems and dealt with them?

Thank you, in advance, for your responses.

Dear Jan,

I would recommend that you explore a good nutritional supplement

program.

I will try and find you a web site that could explain without the

commercial claim or exagerations.

Also I suggest you go back to yestedays posts and read the ones on

arthritus. Joint injury, inflamation, and repair are what we are

talking about .

Dear Lisa,

Yes, If the group will help, we will try and find some

answers in these areas.

I used to see these as all seperate diseases and

causes.

Now I see them as possibly inter related and could be

caused by one problem.

We have to try and help each other with research and

trading information. Then it is up to each of

ourselves personally to find and try the things that

will make us well.

Thanks for being part of our group. good luck,

Frank

When in doubt take some of the pulp and eat it. Mixed with a little

juice. I learned the nutrients are more accessible by juicing but the

fiber til has many benefits

Good health to you, Virgie322001

Shell,

You are getting all the good stuff with the juice, you just took out the

fiber. Carrots contain beta carotene and 8 other carotenes, this is why I

think its so much better to take whole foods that an isolated component.

Hi,

I'm new to the group and although I'm not suffering from any disorder, I

want to be healthy and eat good stuff. On Friday I happened to be in a

shop

when an ex-demonstration juicer was on sale, so I bought it. I wondered

if

anyone can help me to know if I get as much of the beta carrotine out of

the

carrot once it's juiced as I do eating a raw one? Sorry I'm quite new to

the health foods.

Love Shell.

3yrs ago yearly bouts with bronchitis and pnuemonia

and just a few weeks ago double pneumonia. After 3yrs

of being bronch & pneum free I got

" Steamrollered " and hospitalized.I was so PO'd at my

body for betraying me yet again.

Anyhow to my list:MSM,Artichoke,Dandelion Rt,Garlic,

I am also taking these rx

meds...prilosec,baclofen,neurontin,vioxx,remeron,zyrtec

and guaifenesin.I know I'm probably overdoing it in

some areas so any suggestions are welcome.
