Guest guest
What I've done in similar circumstances is: 1. A full half ounce of Ultra Echinacea Tincture. 2. A Garlic clove used as a suppository 3. A full dropperful of 300,000 heat unit Cayenne 4. A 16 oz. drink of: a. 7 oz freshed squeezed lemon juice b. 7 oz distilled water c. 5 cloves of garlic d. 5 knuckle size pieces of fresh ginger e. 5 tablespoons of olive oil everything in this drink is organic, blended together and down the hatch. 5. Until you go to bed, take two more dropperfuls of the Echinacea every hour on the hour until you zonk off. It's worked for me every time, and I hope it helps you out. Love, Ian PS. Iknow I can use my anti-viral, anti-biotic infection fighter on this, but Ithought I would try a couple of things just for information sake.Though I knew it probably wouldn't work I tried my favorite dry, ticklycough formula which is, wild cherry, elderberry, & horehound in a simpleglycerine formula that is almost a year old. Didn't touch it.Then yesterday I moved on to the formula that I use to clear pnuemonia andbronchitis in my children in less than 24 hours. That's Dr. Christopher'smix of comfrey, mullein, chickweed, marshmallow root and lobelia in a simpleglycerine. (meaning not tinct tracted, which I think is better but morecomplicated to make) I brings the problem up out of the chest and back intothe head in a day or so. It's not really working for me except I think itis holding my symptoms at bay. I am functioning just a little tired.Any thoughts on this guys? I'm wondering if freshly made tea is a betterway to go and that glycerites are not as effective?CherooFederal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Guest guest
Oh I don't think your so sick ) I kinda relish it when I get a cold as I know it is nothing more than a detox for when I've been chocolate naughty (one of my few vices) and it is simply an indicator that the body is functioning normally and has decided it's time to clean out the dumps. Only the very, very healthy or the very, very sick do not get colds. Thanks for the info, I love hearing how everyone takes care of things. I can tell looking at it that it sends bacteria and virus's into a full retreat. That is similar to what I do but exnay on the manly brew <g> My infection fighter is 1 minced clove of garlic stirred in a little honey to make it stick together, 2 cayenne capsules, 2 dropperfuls of echinacea glycerite that I make myself (better than the store bought, you may need to use more) I have also used 2,000 mg. of Vit. C in calcium ascorbate form, but I know that's a cheat : ) I have tried it twice with out the vit. C and it seems to work as well. I do this 4 times a day unless someone has let an illness go into an advance stage then I step it up to every two hours of waking time. I called the school on the lung formula/ bronchitis thing and asked what they thought about it. They didn't know why it worked on children's bronchitis & pnuemonia and not mine either except that perhaps children are less toxic and their energy is higher so they respond better to less. The teacher also suggested the garlic as it breaks up the congestion. So much for experimenting, I'm on the garlic, cayenne, echinacea routine and it is working well. First dose took out the aches, chilliness, and tiredness. Awesome stuff : ) I get sick so infrequently I am almost delighted when it happens so I can try things first hand. Sick huh? lol! Guest guest
Again I say drink very strong mullein tea every night and again in the morning. Your symptoms should disappear within two to three days. Try it. (Just make sure to add honey as some say the herb is yucky tasting. I find it quite pleasant myself.) If you just can't stand the taste, you can use slippery elm or coltsfoot in its place. Gogi Kristie or Patrick Crawford wrote: Good Afternoon All!Again I am suffering from bronchitis. Guest guest
Take a look at Colloidal Silver at: www.utopiasilver.com It's an amazing supplement - non-toxic, anti-biotic, anti-fungal, anti-cancer. Makes quite a difference. Lynn > MARLENEIAM > Re: New Group > > And speaking of " Gettingwell " , that's what I'm doing know. Went to > the ER today and diagnosed with bronchitis. Guest guest
Lynn, Now, 500 posts later, I come back to check out this group and here is your answer. Funny thing. A woman that my husband works with, told me that she took Colloidal Silver when she felt like she was coming down with something. She said she rarely takes any kind of prescription or OTC medicines. Sorry for the late reply. I need to start checking in regularly. I've missed a lot already.
