For example: Since when did salt have anything to do with blanching?? Pickling, yes to salt, but blanching, nothing to do with salt by my great gramdmother's hair! Me thinks the debunkers need debunking. :-) and sugar is fun but there are differences between sugars and I have not ever heard sugar (by itself) described as necessary. Of course, since they lumped sugar and honey and and never said the words processed or refined, you really have no idea about what they are speaking.
