Are green potatoes really poisonous?

Hi,

Green potatoes are poisonous all right. BUT!

The mentioned solanin is also a strong apoptic agent and stands an

excellent chance of being used either externally on exposed tumors or

internally through a direct injection into a tumor. This does not seem

to have been researched though. Dr. Mercola would do a better service to

people if he researched what he writes about before posting an

incomplete information.

With kind regards, Slavek.

P.S. potato starch is the simplest of starches derived from starchy

foods such as wheat, corn etc. and is the only one claimed to be fully

digestible, that is broken down into sugars, and which does not clog up

the body with undigested higher starches. This is of course only after

thermal processing, such as boiling.

Dr. Mercola may not need starches and sugars in his diet rubbing his

chair with his hiney all day long, but I assure you that there are jobs

in which living on non low calorie diet just will not do. His limited

approach to such issues in such articles is very short sighted.

With kind regards, Slavek.
