Our government and our population want a free lunch. While that may be a seductive pursuit, the cold fact is that there is no such thing. You pay for what you get and you pay for what you learn. There is no way around the process. There is no quick cure for our bad habits and our addictions. We have always thought otherwise and ended up worse. Heroin is one prime example. There are many more.
