Although this rant by Mike has some merit there are actually people out there in the real world that get the chemo and go on with there lives. Not many, but some do.

 

I have spent a lot of money over the last ten years on alternative methods to arrest my prostate cancer which is getting worse and now a tumor in my neck that is about to do me in. I have been health conscience for 50 years. I have yet to find one alt med person that has been of any help to me.

 

This site is very refreshing in that many people seem to get relief from the addition of iodine to the regiment. It hasn't helped me a bit and the comment about the iodine causing someones throat to be restricted gave me a jolt.

The only people chemo has ever helped over the long term are those who

were able to have their cancer poisoned out before it poisoned them

too badly - and were either very lucky or able to rebuild their

natural immune systems and overcome the chemo damage before cancer was

able to return and once more establish a foothold.

 

The sad fact is that chemo kills more people than it cures. Most

cancer patients who use chemo die of their chemo before the cancer

kills them. In fact, it is my very strong viewpoint that chemo cures

NO ONE. In some cases, it gets rid of the cancer symptoms (the tumors

and cancer masses) and the body is able to heal itself. Those who

survive chemo for five years (which is what mainstream medicine

proclaims as a cure, even it the patient is cancer ridden and dies one

day after the five year annniversity), usually end up getting cancer

again due to chemo paving the way for it's return, or else die

prematurely from major organ damage from the chemo.

 

Anyone who has had chemo, especially long term, and is still alive

should thank their lucky stars and embrace a very healthy diet and

lifestyle for the rest of their life.

 

BTW, you have come to the group that may finally give you some help
