Guest guest
Lasik Surgery Results in Worse Vision and Never-Ending Pain Perfect vision without glasses or contacts sounds wonderful. Before considering having Lasik surgery, though, it would be wise to ask how many people actually do have good results and how many will suffer bad effects years after Lasik surgery... http://www.naturalnews.com/023344.html
Guest guest
I always wondered about this procedure and put the idea of doing it myself out of my head because I felt it could be dangerous. I wonder what the success rates are after using the Bates method or Jacob Liberman's method in Take Off Your Glasses and See. Guest guest
Mike, That is impressive. I myself did try Jacob Libermans suggestions but found it a little frustrating. I wonder if I was just being impatient and maybe I should try again. I have heard of a rebounder being used for a variety of heath reasons. Is there a particular rebounder you would recommend? Kelly -------------- Original message -------------- Mike Golden <goldenmike86 Kelly,I improved my myopia slightly years ago dabbling with the Bates method for a few weeks. A similar improvement accidentally occurred last year when I was using a rebounder on a daily basis for 9 months as part of a fitness regimen. I went from seeing 20/40 with my glasses to seeing 20/20 with them. The entire time I was using the rebounder I never thought about my vision at all, although I had read about its use in visual therapy.Mike "mkasj (AT) comcast (DOT) net" <mkasj (AT) comcast (DOT) net>oleander soup Sent: Thursday, June 5, 2008 4:47:02 PMRe: Lasik Surgery Results in Worse Vision and Never-Ending Pain I always wondered about this procedure and put the idea of doing it myself out of my head because I felt it could be dangerous. Guest guest
I have been reading about all the great benefits of rebounding and plan to order one and give it a try. I especially like the idea of helping to move my lymph system. Thanks Mike. kelly -------------- Original message -------------- Mike Golden <goldenmike86 There are a number of good ones out there for just under 300 dollars. I, myself, am a cheapskate, so I bought two 30 dollar ones years ago and taped the top from one onto the top of the other. I stuck a piece of foam between the two surfaces, thus creating something that would stand up to my 220 pounds and not cost an "arm and a leg". I go for months without having to replace a spring.Mike "mkasj (AT) comcast (DOT) net" <mkasj (AT) comcast (DOT) net>oleander soup Sent: Thursday, June 5, 2008 5:47:12 PMRe: Lasik Surgery Results in Worse Vision and Never-Ending Pain Mike, That is impressive. Guest guest
Yes, I said I inadvertently improved my vision using one. I was using the rebounder for fitness. My vision did improve. But, I also said that there is no way I could know if it would be helpful in your case.
