and even more congratulations on your personal victory over cancer!

Thanks, Tony! The article has been up on the AHHA site since 2001. I think

that the " featured articles " section is something fairly new, but I had no

idea they were going to include the testimonies also.

I also noticed that toward the end of my testimony it says " as of May, 2004

I remain cancer-free... " Obviously, I'm still here and need to have Susan

update that part to 2008. ;o)

Be Well

Dear Robert Blau, Loretta Lanphier (and others):

This is my first posting in this group. I read Tony Isaacs' ebook with

keen interest and appreciate the fact that this has

attracted the membership of such a wide audience. Loretta, I

appreciate MUCH what you wrote in your testimonial. I also thank you

for introducing me to the American Holistic Health Association.

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer by needle biopsy on 6/26/06 with

a PSA of 13.9 and Gleason score of 3+3. I then made the mistake of

turning to hormone therapy under Dr. Robert Leibowitz, which quickly

led to 12 sessions of chemotherapy starting 9/7/06. I bailed out two

months later after 9 of the 12 sessions in favor of non-toxic options.

I started with Protocel on 11/1/06 and remain on that protocol now,

some 18 months later. I started testosterone replacement therapy on

6/1/07 in an attempt to undo the damage already done by Lupron and

Casodex (plus those 9 sessions of chemotherapy). At that point in

time, my PSA was 1.8 [after reaching a low of 0.24 on 1/4/07] and my

serum testosterone level was 189 [LabCorp ref. range = 241-827], up

from <20 on 10/30/06. In the months that followed, my PSA spiked to

26.2 (on 1/24/08) and finally backed off to 20.9 (on 3/11/08), and my

serum testosterone rose to 709 (on 1/24/08). In the meantime, I chose

to add Laetrile (Vitamin B-17) therapy to my use of Protocel while I

was in Jerusalem (February through May, 2008).

Here are some numbers that may be of interest:

Date || PSA || PSA-doubling time

05/19/03 || 05.5 || baseline

03/29/06 || 13.9 || 2.14 yrs / before ADT & chemo

03/11/08 || 20.9 || 2.50 (3.32 from 24 months earlier)

I had an AMAS cancer test in January 2007 and plan to repeat that test

in June 2008 (after 18 months). Hopefully, I will see evidence of some

movement in the direction you describe so well, Loretta. Your

testimony is a source of encouragement.

I have not yet tried oleander soup and will not do so until I decide

to take a break from using Protocel. I only learned about this group

and oleander soup three weeks ago.

I have lost more than 40 pounds since being diagnosed with prostate

cancer, with another 30 pounds to go to get to my target goal of 170

lbs. My journey into the world of alternative medicine has been

slower than yours, Loretta. When I return to the U.S. in a couple

weeks I will plunge in more deeply -- hopefully, with a somewhat

similar testimony at some point in the months ahead.
