That is an important issue for many of us. I don't think the chemicals, filtrations, or fanatical cleaning can be an answer.Maybe we should take the debris and make a homeopathic remedy from it. Also, colon and liver cleansing, repair of gut mucosal lining, and an anti-inflammatory diet - all to reduce the tendency toward allergic responses seem the right thing to do. Throw in alkalinizing water and vegetables and we might have a solution for the dust mite problem, but it is only a solution when these methods are employed to prevent the malfunctioning and premature aging of all these body systems involved.Anyone want to throw some more garnish and gravy on the therapy recipe?Dr. Goebelrobert-blau wrote: You be the judge . . . http://news.mobile.msn.com/en-us/articles.aspx?afid=1 & aid=24170532

Re: Can you win against dust mites?

Hi Kelly,

Oh yes....... Natural Apple Cider Vinegar, the one with the "mother" in it, and Raw Honey.

One tablespoon apple cider vinegar and one tablespoon honey. I mix it up and take it straight. It took me over a year to get used to the taste, but I prefer to down it and get it over with.

Another option is to mix one tablespoon ACV with one tablespoon of honey in one liter of distilled water. Some people love this. I don't. In fact I considered it slow suicide, so I opted for the quick route.

earthclinic.com has more information on ACV and also a variety of recipes to make it more pallatable.

I will say this, irrespective of the taste, it has done wonders for my health and it is definitely worth grimacing a bit and maybe doing a little "oh bleeeecccch" dance while taking it.

Hugs,
